If your idea of heaven is being pampered by a world class masseuse, then look no further than Peter Island Resort and Spa. Peter island is one of the most famous resorts in the BVI's and has a stunning spa set up on the hill top overlooking a deserted beach. Across the bay is the infamous Dead Chest, where it is said the Black Beard the pirate marooned some men with nothing but a bottle of rum and a pistol. According to legend, they attempted to swim to Peter island and drowned in the process. Their bodies washed up on the gorgeous main beach, which is now called Dead Man's Bay. It is believed this inspired the song "Yo Ho Ho and a bottle of rum!" If you would like to visit the Peter island Spa for any of their fabulous treatments, the crew will gladly show you the spa menu and book an appointment for you. Please note appointments are best made as soon as possible. The menu is also available online.
